Guitar Concert Vol.47 — 東京・渋谷 2026

2026年6月26日（木）、東京・渋谷にて、当教室主催の 「Guitar Concert Vol.47」 を開催しました。

会場は、渋谷駅から徒歩圏内にある 渋谷文化総合センター大和田。 東京でのコンサートシリーズとしては第2回目となる開催で、多くの生徒さんがこの日のために練習を重ね、本番に臨みました。

今回出演した生徒の皆さんは大変に熱心。

レッスンのたびに課題へ真剣に取り組み、少しずつ音が変わり、表現が豊かになっていきました。

渋谷文化総合センター大和田

渋谷区桜丘町にあるこの施設は、地域の芸術活動や文化イベントが数多く行われています。

ホールに入ると、まず目に入るのが木の質感を生かした落ち着いた内装。派手すぎず、それでいて上品な雰囲気があり、クラシックギターの繊細な響きととても相性の良い空間です。

クラシックギターは、ピアノやヴァイオリンのように大きな音量を出す楽器ではありません。だからこそ、ホールの音響環境が非常に重要になります。

この会場では、弱音のニュアンスや音色の変化まで客席に自然に届き、演奏者にとっても非常に心地よい響きを感じることができます。

照明が落とされ、ステージに柔らかなスポットライトが当たると、空間の雰囲気は一変。木の壁に反射した温かな光が広がり、本格的なコンサートホールならではの特別な時間が始まです。　　

開演前のリハーサル

本番前には、短時間ではありますがステージで音出しを行いました。

今回出演した生徒さんの中には、人前で演奏するのが初めてという方も多くいました。

実際のホールで弾いてみると、普段の教室とは響き方がまったく異なります。音がよく伸びる分、いつもより気持ちよく演奏できる反面、緊張も一気に高まります。

リハーサルは単なる音確認ではなく、ステージの空気に慣れ心を落ち着かせるための大切な時間です。

コンサート開始

午後7時、いよいよコンサートが開演。 静かな期待感に包まれた会場でワクワク感とともに、特別な音楽の時間が始まりです。

演奏順はその場で皆さんが相談して決定。

緊張感の中でのコンサート開始です。

緑川凱久さん — A.Cano / Study

ギターを手にしてまだ約1か月とは、会場の誰も信じられなかったのではないでしょうか。 A.Canoのstudyでは、初心者とは思えないほど芯のある音が響き、まるで「これからどこまで伸びていくのだろう」と未来を予感させる演奏。会場からも驚きの視線が集まっていました。

青山陽子さん — Sunflower/H.Manchini

戦争をテーマにした映画音楽「サンフラワー」を、日本語と英語の両方で丁寧に紹介してから演奏。 その真摯な語り口と、深い思いが込められた演奏によって、会場全体が一瞬で映画の世界へ。温かさと力強さが同居した、まさに“心に残るステージ”でした。

桝野拓路さん — Bourree/ J.S.Bach

厳粛な空気をまとったバッハのブーレ。 一音一音に品格があり、まるで小さな教会に響く鐘の音のよう。クラシックギターの魅力を改めて感じさせてくれる、格調高い演奏でした。

Akira Okochi-san — Morning Mood/E.Grieg

誰もが耳にしたことのある名曲Morning Mood。 柔らかな音色が朝の光のように会場に広がり、聴いているだけで心がすっと軽くなるような演奏。自然と笑顔になる、癒やしの時間でした。

Raito Yoshida-kun — ロシア民謡 / 二つのギター

哀愁と情熱が交錯するロシア民謡「二つのギター」。 若々しい感性でぐいぐいと音楽を前へ進め、聴く人をロシアの広大な風景へ連れて行ってくれるような、印象的なステージでした。

 宇野智瑛さん— ザナルカンドにて/M.Nobuo

ゲーム音楽ファンにはたまらない「ザナルカン」。 繊細で美しいメロディを、まるで物語を語るように丁寧に表現。クラシックギターでここまでドラマチックな世界が作れるのかと、思わず引き込まれる演奏でした。

徳永潤さん — Un dia de noviembre/ L.Brower

力強く伸びやかな音量が会場いっぱいに響いた「Un dia de noviembre」。 情熱的でありながらどこか切なさも感じさせる音色で、ステージに南国の風が吹き抜けたような存在感を放っていました。

Franky.J.Lee — Ejercicio/J.Ferrer

「Ejercicio」では、上昇していくフレーズが鮮やかに描かれ、スペインの青空と白い街並みが目に浮かぶよう。 音の階段を軽やかに駆け上がっていくような演奏に、会場も自然と耳を傾けていました。

宮沢法義さん — Canon

1日4時間以上の練習を積み重ねてきた成果が、そのまま音に表れていました。 安定感、集中力、そして曲を大切に育ててきたことが伝わる堂々たるCanon。努力が音楽になる瞬間を感じさせる、説得力のある演奏でした。

Niall O’Connor — Caprice/M.Carcassi

一見するとシンプルに聴こえる「Caprice」ですが、Niall-san自身が工夫したフレーズづくりによって、曲がまるで別の表情を見せてくれました。 「自分で音楽を作る楽しさ」を感じさせてくれる、創造性あふれるステージでした。

Jeffrey Sorenseb — Study Op. 68 no.7/ M.Carcassi

流れるように上昇していくメロディがとても心地よく、会場の空気がふわっと明るくなるような演奏。 テクニックだけでなく、聴き手をリラックスさせる自然な音楽性が光っていました。

伊賀和幸さん — Nocturno/C.Henze

そして最後は伊賀さんの「NocturnO」。 「体験レッスンに来たら、気づけば発表会への出演が決まっていました！」というユーモアたっぷりのスピーチで、会場は大爆笑。 しかし演奏が始まると空気は一変し、静かで美しい夜の世界へ。笑いと感動の両方を届けてくれる、忘れられない締めくくりとなりました。

本番での “いつも以上の力”

人前に立つことで集中力が一気に高まり、音への意識が研ぎ澄まされる。

緊張がマイナスではなく潜在的力ひきだします。

本番でしか出会えない音、ステージでしか得られない感覚。

演奏後の皆さんの表情には達成感と安堵。

東京とニューヨークをオンラインで接続

東京での演奏が一段落した後、スクリーンにニューヨークの生徒さんたちが登場。

映像も音声も非常にクリアで、まるで同じ会場で一緒にコンサートをしているような臨場感でした。

画面越しでも、演奏する姿勢や指の動き、緊張した表情までしっかり伝わってきて、会場全体が自然と一体感に包まれます。

ニューヨーク時間では 朝6時。早朝にもかかわらず参加してくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。眠い時間帯だったと思いますが、それぞれ素晴らしい演奏を披露してくれました。

演奏後には、日本とニューヨークの生徒同士で簡単な交流タイムを設け、最後に全員で記念撮影。離れた場所にいながら、同じ音楽の時間を共有できたことは、とても感慨深い経験です。

今回は、教室を主催している私自身もステージに立ち、ヴィラ＝ロボス の作品を演奏しました。

ヴィラ＝ロボスは、ブラジルを代表する20世紀の作曲家で、クラシックギターの世界では欠かすことのできない存在です。

民族音楽のリズムや色彩感と、西洋クラシックの構成美が融合した彼の音楽には、独特のエネルギーがあります。

東京という日本の都市、そしてニューヨークという多文化都市をオンラインで結んだ今回のコンサートは、異なる文化や背景を持つ人々が音楽によってつながる場となりました。

どこかヴィラ＝ロボスの音楽が持つ自由さや多様性と重なります。

コンサート後の交流会

終演後は、他会場に移動してアフター交流会を行いました。

演奏を終えた直後の乾杯は、やはり格別です。

ステージの緊張から解放され、「あそこ難しかったですね」「でも楽しかった！」などと自然に会話が弾みます。

同じ舞台を経験したことで、生徒さん同士の距離もぐっと縮まり、音楽を通じた新しいつながりが生まれます。

今後のコンサート

ニューヨークでは以前、年に3回のペースで発表会を開催していましたが、日本ではお仕事や学業との両立を考え、夏と冬を目安に年2回程度 の開催をしています。

「次のコンサートでこの曲を弾きたい」 「前回よりも良い演奏をしたい」

そんな気持ちが、上達への大きな原動力になります。

そして本番の経験そのものが演奏者を一段階成長させてくれます。

Guitar Concert Vol.47 にご出演いただいた生徒の皆さん、そして会場にお越しくださったご家族・ご友人の皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

どの演奏にも、それぞれの努力や思いが込められており、講師としてとても誇らしい時間でした。

また、ニューヨークからオンラインで参加してくださった皆さんにも、心より感謝いたします。早朝からのご協力、本当にありがとうございました。

次回のコンサートでも、さらに成長した皆さんの演奏を聴けることを楽しみにしています。

Guitar Concert Vol.47 — Shibuya, Tokyo 2026

On Thursday, June 26, 2026, we held ‘Guitar Concert Vol.47’ hosted by our classroom in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The venue was the Shibuya Cultural Center Owada, within walking distance from Shibuya Station. As the second concert series in Tokyo, many students practiced for this day and faced the actual performance.

The students who performed this time are all truly enthusiastic. I myself have been looking forward to watching them seriously tackle their assignments at every lesson, their sound changing little by little, and their expression becoming richer.

Shibuya Cultural Center Owada

This facility in Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, is known for hosting many local art activities and cultural events.

When you enter the hall, the first thing that catches your eye is the calm interior that makes use of the texture of wood. It’s not too flashy, yet has an elegant atmosphere, a space that goes very well with the delicate resonance of the classical guitar.

The classical guitar is not an instrument that produces a loud volume like a piano or violin. That is why the acoustic environment of the hall is extremely important.

In this venue, even the nuances of soft sounds and changes in tone naturally reach the audience seats, and the performers can also feel a very comfortable resonance.

When the lights were dimmed and a soft spotlight hit the stage, the atmosphere of the space completely changed. The warm light reflected on the wooden walls spread, and a special time unique to a full-fledged concert hall began.

Rehearsal before the performance

Before the actual performance, we did a sound check on stage, albeit for a short time.

Among the students who performed this time, there were many who were performing in front of people for the first time.

When playing in an actual hall, the resonance is completely different from a regular classroom. While you can play more comfortably than usual because the sound extends well, the tension also rises at once.

Therefore, this rehearsal is not just a volume check, but an important time to get used to the atmosphere of the stage and calm the mind.

The ‘more than usual’ power seen in the actual performance

Standing in front of people suddenly heightens concentration, and the awareness of sound is sharpened. It was a moment when tension worked in a positive direction, not a negative one.

There are sounds that can only be encountered in the actual performance, and sensations that can only be obtained on stage. In everyone’s expressions after the performance, a sense of accomplishment, relief, and a positive feeling of ‘wanting to challenge again’ could be felt.

Concert Starts

At 7:00 PM, the concert finally began. In a venue filled with quiet anticipation, a special musical time started with the excitement of ‘Who will show us what kind of world next?’

The order of performance was decided by everyone consulting on the spot. Even amidst the tension, there were harmonious smiles, creating an atmosphere of a ‘concert of friends enjoying music’.

Mr. Midorikawa — A.Cano / study

No one in the venue could probably believe that it had only been about a month since he picked up the guitar. In A.Cano’s study, a core sound resonated that didn’t seem like a beginner’s, a performance that made one anticipate the future, wondering ‘how far will he grow from here’. Surprised gazes gathered from the venue as well.

Ms. Yoko Aoyama — Sunflower

She carefully introduced the movie music ‘Sunflower’, which has war as its theme, in both Japanese and English before performing. With her sincere storytelling and a performance filled with deep thoughts, the entire venue was instantly transported to the world of the movie. It was truly a ‘memorable stage’ where warmth and strength coexisted.

Mr. Masuno — Bach / Bourrée

Bach’s Bourrée clad in a solemn atmosphere. Every single note had dignity, like the sound of a bell echoing in a small church. It was a highly dignified performance that made one feel the charm of the classical guitar anew.

Mr. Okochi — Morning Mood

The famous masterpiece Morning Mood that everyone has heard. A soft tone spread through the venue like morning light, a performance that made one’s heart feel lighter just by listening. It was a healing time that naturally brought a smile.

Rito-kun — Russian Folk Song / Two Guitars

The Russian folk song ‘Two Guitars’ where sorrow and passion intersect. With a youthful sensibility, he pushed the music forward vigorously, an impressive stage that seemed to take the listener to the vast landscapes of Russia.

Mr. Uno — Zanarkand

Irresistible for game music fans, ‘Zanarkand’. He carefully expressed the delicate and beautiful melody as if telling a story. It was a performance that drew one in, wondering if such a dramatic world could be created with a classical guitar.

Mr. Tokunaga — Un dia de noviembre

A powerful and expansive volume echoed throughout the venue in ‘Un dia de noviembre’. With a tone that was passionate yet somehow made one feel a sense of sorrow, he exuded a presence as if a tropical wind had blown through the stage.

Mr. Lee — Ejercicio

In ‘Ejercicio’, ascending phrases were vividly depicted, making the blue sky and white streets of Spain float before one’s eyes. The venue naturally listened to the performance that seemed to lightly run up the stairs of sound.

Mr. Miyazawa — Canon

The results of accumulating more than 4 hours of practice a day were directly reflected in the sound. A majestic Canon that conveyed a sense of stability, concentration, and that he had carefully nurtured the piece. It was a persuasive performance that made one feel the moment when effort becomes music.

Mr. Niall — Caprice

Although ‘Caprice’ sounds simple at first glance, the piece showed a completely different expression through the phrase creation devised by Mr. Niall himself. It was a highly creative stage that made one feel the ‘joy of creating music oneself’.

Mr. Jeff — Carcassi study

A performance where the flowing ascending melody was very pleasant, and the atmosphere of the venue seemed to softly brighten. Not only technique, but a natural musicality that relaxed the listener shone through.

Mr. Iga — NocturnO

And finally, Mr. Iga’s ‘NocturnO’. With a humorous speech saying, ‘When I came for a trial lesson, before I knew it, my appearance at the recital was decided!’, the venue burst into laughter. However, when the performance began, the atmosphere completely changed, entering a quiet and beautiful night world. It was an unforgettable conclusion that delivered both laughter and emotion.

Connecting Tokyo and New York online

In this concert, as a new attempt never seen before, we implemented a project to connect the venue online with students in New York.

After the performances in Tokyo settled down, the students in New York appeared on the screen. Both the video and audio were very clear, giving a sense of presence as if we were doing a concert together in the same venue.

Even through the screen, the posture of playing, the movement of fingers, and even the tense expressions were firmly conveyed, and the entire venue was naturally enveloped in a sense of unity.

It was 6:00 AM New York time. Thank you very much to everyone who participated despite the early morning. I think it was a sleepy time, but each of you showed a wonderful performance.

After the performance, we set up a brief exchange time between students in Japan and New York, and finally took a commemorative photo with everyone. Being able to share the same musical time while being in distant places was a very deeply moving experience.

I also performed myself

This time, I, who hosts the classroom, also stood on stage and performed a piece by Villa-Lobos.

Villa-Lobos is a 20th-century composer representing Brazil, and an indispensable presence in the world of classical guitar.

His music, where the rhythm and sense of color of ethnic music fuse with the structural beauty of Western classics, has a unique energy.

This concert, which connected the Japanese city of Tokyo and the multicultural city of New York online, became a place where people with different cultures and backgrounds connected through music. That sight somehow felt overlapping with the freedom and diversity that Villa-Lobos’s music has.

Exchange meeting after the concert

After the performance, we moved to a bar near the venue and held an after-exchange meeting.

The toast right after finishing the performance is indeed exceptional. Released from the tension of the stage, conversations naturally bounce, like ‘That part was difficult, wasn’t it?’ ‘But it was fun!’

By experiencing the same stage, the distance between students also shrank significantly, and new connections through music were born.

About future concerts

In New York, we used to hold recitals at a pace of three times a year, but in Japan, considering the balance with work and studies, we plan to hold them about twice a year, aiming for summer and winter.

‘I want to play this piece at the next concert’ ‘I want to give a better performance than last time’

Such feelings become a great driving force for improvement. And I felt anew this time that the experience of the actual performance itself makes the performer grow one step further.

To all the students who performed in Guitar Concert Vol.47, and to all the family and friends who came to the venue, thank you very much.

Every performance was filled with each person’s effort and thoughts, and it was a very proud time as an instructor.

Also, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated online from New York. Thank you very much for your cooperation from early morning.
